Welting Foot Instructions.

Preparation: Center Needle Straight Stitch 3

Using the Presser Foot:

1. Use the 1/4", 1/8" or 3/16" cord. Cut strips of bias or cross grain fabric wide enough to cover cord plus seam allowances.
2. Attach desired welting foot on the presser bar. select center needle straight stitch, stitch length 3
3. Place the cording on the wrong side of the fabric and wrap the strip around the cord.
4. Place the fabric and the cord under the foot with the cording in the grove on the under side of the foot. Sew to cover the cording with the fabric.
