The little foot makes sewing perfect 1/4 inch edges without having too much extra fabric or mistakes. The quarter inch is something that works great with small pieces of fabric such as those for doll clothes and small details on many other fabrics and styled items.

Most of the fabrics I use will need the use of 1/4 inch, such as all of the doll clothing I create, but sometimes it can be hard for tiny and large doll style clothing with the hem being so tiny. So having a foot to guide you through and make it easier without, well that is a must-have in my books of things to own!
I highly recommend this foot, it's so much easier to hem and fits so many machines with ease!
